I had to take the time to write this review. I would kindly ask that you think twice before entering this establishment . I initially called and was told to bring my gown to help find the correct bra. At the door, I was stopped and informed of the $75 fitting fee- why wasn’t I told that over the phone? Decided I would enter and purchase the correct bra which the $75 fee would be applied towards. I knew they carried my brand so thought I would get something either way. I probably spent 50 mins in the store and found a good choice. I purchased the bra only to realize once I was home that the mark up was over 65%!! Seriously? It was $37 more expensive than everywhere else including the manufacturer website, Bloomingdales, etc.
I called the next day and questioned the price. I guess that phone call inspired me to write this review. I was told all sales were final and the man was YELLING at me over the phone. Actually , had the nerve to tell me I owed them $150 because I was in the store for an hour!! Not only was he rude to me, but hung up on me!! What store owner behaves that way?! My father had his own store for 48 years and would never respond to a customer in that manner.
Do NOT enter. Price gauging evident and the attitudes there are very unsettling.

I normally don’t write reviews of lingerie stores, but I’m definitely making an exception for WOB. My girlfriend introduced me to this store last year, and we’ve shopped there together several times since. The customer service is top notch, patient and helpful. Mitch, one of the owners, is a genuinely nice person who always makes us feel welcome. He also knows what my girlfriend likes and will go out of his way to contact her when something new comes in. Highly recommended!

went in and was immediately told about the consultation fee with "attitude". i always purchase. never again......so if you purchase theres no consultation fee but the bras are 30% higher. Bought 2 bras for $200.00. One bra was 89 dollars and it retails for 62 dollars in every other store. So needless to say, i purchased other colors in Nordstroms. I will never go back.

I went to this business today (WOB Wyckoff) at the recommendation of a friend, who was unaware of their current store policy. Upon arrival I was met by an employee who politely explained their policy of a $75 consultation fee, that would be credited to any purchase. Without paying the fee, I would not be allowed to peruse their inventory. Not knowing if I would find a bra I liked and not wanting to risk the $75 consultation fee, I respectfully declined and began to leave. As I was leaving, a male employees followed me out of the store, all the while verbally harassing me and negatively commenting on my hair cut, hair color, attire and ability to afford their products. While he wasn't vulgar, his verbal attack on me was abusive and demeaning.

RESPONSE TO THE STORES REPLY TO MY INITIAL POST:

For anyone who reads this, I'm a 75 year old woman and have never posted a negative or positive online review for any business. I did so today because of the unbelievably rude treatment I received by the employees at WOB. As you can see by this businesses response to my post, and their response to other negative posts over the years, they attack and demean those of us who chose to take the time to warn other customers of their rude behavior. However, one negative response about rude behavior is too many, and they have more than one. I can only assume there are other instances that aren't posted.

Their response to my post is a total exaggeration of what transpired. I never felt entitled or assumed I should be allowed to do as I pleased. Did I lash out at the male employee about his hair? Yes, but only as a reaction of the verbal attack he initiated as I was leaving and continued as he followed me outside. I can only assume that had I purchased an item, their attitude would have been more positive.

I can sympathize about their struggles during these difficult times, but alienating customers isn't the best business model.

After composing myself, I drove to a specialty bra store in Morristown, that I had used in the past. They didn't have a consultation fee and allowed me to shop for the style I wanted and assisted in fitting me with the correct size. As a result I spent $250.00 for two perfectly fitted bras, just good & polite service.

If the owner of WOB chooses to question my honesty about the purchase, I'll be happy to post the receipt and the name of the store.

If you choose to ignore mine and the other negative comments, as they say, let the buyer beware. Hopefully you'll have a better experience than I did.

I just discovered WOB Lingerie in Wyckoff. What a wonderful place to shop for bras! The sales staff are courteous and expert bra fitters. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING! They are patient and took the time to make sure I was fitted properly. They carry a full range of high quality brands in a wide variety of sizes at reasonable prices. I guarantee you will leave WOB with a bra that is a perfect fit. I will never go back to a department store again! Support small businesses. Shop WOB! You won’t be disappointed! Absolutely the best bra buying experience I have ever had!

Ladies. Read my review fully. It is very thorough.

After struggling to find the perfect bra for me, I finally decided to go to a place that specializes in giving the clients what they need. I walked in and Dina gave me a super personalized experience. She was able to eyeball my size and then confirmed it with her tape measure. Tangent: As a former retail Makeup-Artist, I took no issue with it, as I can eyeball foundation shades pretty easily. This comes from experience with working with women of all shapes and sizes. You see it all and you remember.

She found me the perfect bra pretty early on, but was willing to put others on me if I wasn’t happy. One thing was for certain, Dina knew exactly what she was talking about.

After working with her, I checked out with Mitch and Patty who took their time with me and chatted about their passion for customer service. I also learned they provide services for women who are post-op from several breast surgeries and even mastectomies. The service I was provided was top notch. The bras I purchased fit me so perfectly. For once, I am comfortable in my bra. I will absolutely be returning to this place.

A note about the $55 consult fee a fewpeople have complained about in the reviews:

1. There is a sign when you walk into the store which lays it out in plain text.
2. IT IS WAIVED IF YOU PURCHASE A BRA.
3. Dina was VERY upfront with me about this, before asking me if I wanted to proceed. I knew I was going to make a purchase, so I went ahead with it. No one forces you to proceed with it.

u can engage directly with the people profiting from your business: people who truly care. My only complaint is not finding them sooner! Run, don’t walk, to WOB and find the perfect bra for you…. Because breast health is health!

I tried department stores in my hunt for a new bra. It was exhausting, confusing, and frustrating. I wasn’t sure what my next step would be.
I remembered passing a shop in Wyckoff (WOB),
so I took a chance and went there. Have to say it was a wonderful experience. No confusion, no frustration. The owner asked what I needed. She knew immediately what size I was, and within minutes showed me three different bras, that would work for me. I purchased two, and will certainly be buying additional bras there, and only there.
The owners couldn’t have been nicer, and more knowledgeable.
I have been in retail for over 20 years, and customer service is all that matters. Take care of your customer the way you would like to be treated, that certainly is what the owners of WOB Lingerie do.
