Lindsay and Ceren are great at leading you through a class that prepares you for many different situations but breaking it down so it does not feel overwhelming. They challenge you throughout the class and make you feel just the right amount of uncomfortable so that you feel confident being able to defend yourself when you leave. The class was informative, supportive, challenging and fun! I would recommend to any human being living in the world today!

After completing the self defense class that SOGO Seminars held over the weekend, I feel prepared to defend myself if I was ever put in a situation that required me to do so. As a young female professional who travels for work and is jumping around from city to city, equipping myself with tools to ensure my safety was crucial. Lindsay and Ceren went above and beyond to ensure the class was serious and informative, but also welcoming, patient, inclusive, and a learning environment. There was no dumb question and they were constantly engaged with all of the students in the class to ensure each individual felt comfortable with each move and the moves were being performed correctly. I would HIGHLY recommend this class to any individual, but especially to females and those headed off to college soon. Thank you Lindsay and Ceren for all of my new tools and knowledge!

Awesome class! Highly recommend for ALL females to take this class but especially if you are interfacing with new people. The class was fun and full of energy while also providing easy and concise techniques to apply in real life scenarios. I loved that the class was really hands on and everything was practiced on the spot. Lindsey and Ceren are also really funny and sweet which makes it that much better! I feel much more equipped for uncomfortable situations. Thanks ladies!

This class what fun and informative! This isn't a "How to beat someone up" class, Lindsay and Ceren are highly trained and knowledgeable and have a great way of communicating tips and tactics for self defense in real-life scenarios. Although I'd highly recommend this class for my wife, sister, mother, etc. this class is a must for EVERYONE, not just for women.

The SOGO Seminars self defense class was amazing! I’ve taken self defense classes before, but this one actually left me feeling much more prepared to defend myself in a dangerous situation should I ever need to. Not only were the instructors extremely informative, but also patient and willing to work with each one of us until we felt comfortable with the moves we were learning. I’d highly recommend this class!

Sogo Seminars is an excellent and extremely professional self-defense seminar taught by Lindsay and Ceren. Both instructors are highly qualified and trained with the skills needed to prepare any person for a life-threatening situation where self-defense is necessary. I loved the seminar and how it was structured! Ceren and Lindsay are very knowledgeable and kept the class fun while we learned how to have the right mindset, striking teqnique, and how to get out of uncomfortable situations. I came away from the class informed and ready to use what I had learned. Being 14, I am now a lot more confident walking places on my own and running on the trails around my house!
