We love this place! It’s right next to Chuck E. Cheese, so it’s super convenient when we’re out with my niece (who’s also a big fan). The vibe is chill, the music is always on point, and the service is super friendly and fast.

The food? Amazing. The dac biet pho is our favorite—it’s loaded with everything and the broth is sooo good. If you’re looking for great pho and a relaxed spot to hang out, this is it!

Pho Papa used to be my go-to pho place. Now this is the one. Best one in San Jose in my opinion; everything is just right. Broth is flavourful (no extra seasoning required), meat is fantastic and noodle is slurping soft and keeps its form. My husband loves the filet mignon steak. We came in at 7.30pm and the broth was not diluted which could be the case for some other restaurants.

Pho Duoi Bo is a must-visit for beef lovers, offering 23 varieties of beef pho! The moment we walked in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made us feel right at home. We ordered their special pho with oxtail and short rib, and it was huge—enough to feed 2-3 people. The broth was savory and less oily, making it deliciously satisfying. Don’t miss out on their torch-seared Kobe steak; it complements the pho perfectly. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their amazing menu!

In my opinion, this is now the best Pho in San Jose. I put it slightly higher than Pho Papa and Pho Ha Noi, which are both also quite good. This place is very straight forward, there's only pho. You can't get rice plates or hu tieu or anything else so if you're looking for high quality pho, this is the place. We went during their grand opening so they were giving discounts which was just icing on top of an already delicious cake. The staff was very friendly and quick and the food was fantastic. I recommend getting the beef rib over the ox tail which works out to be a much better deal. Go today, you won't regret it.

I’m always in this plaza so I decided to take my wife here to eat because we were too lazy to cook. Look at that number #2 with the beef bone. I never seen it like that before. The meat was high quality and this place had Chinese donuts! Not all of them have it. It’s still the grand opening phase so there’s a discount. The staff was great and paid close attention, when the chef came out to greet us. The broth was flavorful and there was plenty of meat. The decor of this place was nice, everything was hand painted on the walls and the music playlist was good. Was able to Shazam some new Vietnamese songs. Give this place a try.

Grand opening and I hope it stays just as good months and years from today! My new favorite place to eat pho. My bowl was filet, tai, sach, bo vien with fresh noodles. Come and try it out, will not disappoint! Happy eating folks 🙂

Initial impressions: Giant murals, nice faux marble tables, and comfy seats. The lighting is modern and there's a golden disco ball, which is kind of tacky, but it adds to the charm of a good pho place. Weirdly, there's no pho smell, but that won't be a deal-breaker for me. Tables are equipped with a black peppercorn grinder, sriracha, and utensils including long soup spoons, napkins, and dipping plates.

Now onto the broth:
It's fatty but not overly so, well-skimmed. The aromas are subtle yet rich. Julienned onions add a nice crunch. The broth is light, reminiscent of Hanoi style.

The oxtail falls apart, incredibly tender, especially the tendon. While the oxtail and filet mignon are tender, the brisket feels a bit tough; perhaps it's not as premium a cut as the filet mignon.

The pho noodles are regular, not as chewy as I prefer—possibly the brand they use isn't the best, but it's acceptable. They ran out of fresh pho noodles when I came in the evening.

Overall, I would rate this place 4/5 stars.

Stumbled upon this place because another spot was cash only. Found the broth flavourful with no hosin sauce needed. We got both the beef rib and the oxtail pho and both pretty tender with lots of meat. It's hard for a pho place to differentiate itself in SJ but this spot will earn a repeat visit.
