My son has been going here for a little over a year, and I can honestly say it has changed him for the better. Physically and mentally. The class is amazing. The Sensi is kind and has such a way with the kids and the parents that make you feel like a family. I would 100% recommend sending your children or even going yourself. My son looks forward to going every week. I'm so happy to have met these incredible people, and I think anyone who joins would agree as well!

My daughter took classes with sensei John about 15 years ago. I’ve known sensei for almost 25 years and he is kind, the learning environment is friendly yet structured, he is very knowledgeable about martial arts and has an excellent teaching style. Taking classes at martial arts hero factory your kids aren’t learning how to fight! They are learning discipline, respect, self defense and kindness. Great school, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

My two kids have been coming here for several years now and I can’t begin to say how much Martial Arts Hero Factory has changed our lives. It has given my children an outlet to blow off steam, get extra structure and discipline that kids so desperately crave, exercise, and play games in addition to learning skills that can help them if ever need be. The skills go into the real world with them with the way that Sensei teaches. He thrives to give these children a moral compass and teaches them life lessons in addition to self defense. Sensei and his wife have built this studio for all children and adults to have a safe space and I cannot be more grateful for the martial arts family we have been apart of.

Excellent dojo & phenomenal Sensei. Inviting to all ages wanting to learn the art of self defense both mentally and physically. It has been very empowering to personally learn from this dojo about situational awareness and focusing on avoiding and de-escalating dangerous situations before they happen.

My son is 10 years old and very much looks forward to going to karate class and learning new things. He joined a month ago and is becoming disciplined and his self control has improved a great deal. Sensei John is very patient and takes time with each student when instructing. Mr. John is excellent with the kids-very calm and keeps a good sense of humor about him. Highly recommended if you are looking for an excellent activity for your kids, or even for yourself!

Sensei and Mr. John have used techniques that have created a learning environment that is both educational and engaging. The classes go beyond just learning how to kick and punch. Martial Arts Hero Factory instills discipline, respect and self-confidence. We are grateful that this is part of my son’s week and he looks forward to his time spent at karate. I started my daughter (4) a few months ago and this program is great. She is always excited for class. She practices at home and simply can't get enough karate! I have seen improvement in her focus, confidence and strength. She seems happier and enjoys being more active. She listens better too! It is great to be able to reference things that she has leaned in class and apply those lessons to other areas of life. Sensei and Johanna are a wonderful team and what they are doing for these youngsters is good for the kids as well as the community. I see this being a long term commitment that will aid our little girl in many areas as she grows into a responsible adult.
