There is one extremely rude worker. I was checking out and waiting in the check out line with no one behind me, she continued to talk to another worker while looking at me standing in line. Mind you there was a total of maybe 5 customers in the store and it was 10:30am. When I finally was able to check out she was extremely rude as i was trying to explain that i needed to return an item for store credit . I ordered this item online and it just wasn't what I expected it to be. She talked over me and rushed me as I was trying to explain it to her. She kept saying "okay phone number? okay phone number?" in a really weird and rude tone? She was upset I was returning something, and told me she was doing me a favor as well. Then I wanted to apply the store credit to another purchase which was a sale purchase for $59 instead of the retail $74, she charged me the full retail price anyway, and my lulu account is military which she didn't apply either. She rushed me out and no I was not going to say anything about the mispriced item or my military benefit, because I am not going to fight someone who clearly doesn't think I can afford it or belong there. I was extremely apologetic and expressed my gratitude to her for "doing me a favor". I literally told her, "Thank you so much I really appreciate it" Yet she was still incredibly rude. And she had to have been 5'10 and im 4'11, so she was extremely intimidating as well. Maybe its just the location of hyde park, or that i was wearing a sweatshirt and shorts that caused her to think I dont belong. But thats insane anyway because not everyone wears their wealth... I immediately drove to the international location which was EXTREMELY busy. The checkout line was wrapped around the store and there were tons of people shopping, but every employee was incredibly nice and so helpful. I was able to resolve everything that the Hyde Park location messed up. I will say, every other staff member at this hyde park location was so friendly and helpful, so im just not sure why this one girl at check out was so rude to me.

worst lulu store I've been too, check the reviews as many people have issues with the people working here. I was short on time, just wanted to try on a few pieces. I went to the changing room, normally the people ask for your name right away ect. Nothing happened, it was me and another girl, I waited a bit and after being ignored I just looked at the worker and asked if I can go ahead and use the changing room. No answer nothing, k so I just went into the changing room and tried on what I had. On the way out of the room I gave a few pieces back and asked if I can leave them with the worker. He just looked at me crazy and said with a snobby answer yes..i just gave him a weird look like what's that about and went to pay for my items. While waiting I spotted the same girl in the changing room and she gave me an attitude, finding out I took her changing room lol. Mind this person didnt had any personal belongings in the room and that's why I didnt realize that she had the room before me/remember they put your name on the cabin as well, which the guy failed to do...and there were 2 other changing rooms open as it was only me and her. This was a bit coocoo and I sure don't like being rude, if I knew I took anybody's room I would had apologized. Not to mention that the male gay worker was fully invested in the conversation for minutes, ignoring my simple question about me using the changing room. If I spend tons of money in a store I like to enjoy my experience. Sorry that lulu employees are getting paid to chat and can't not be interrupted while working, I take my money to another store. Thanks good there are other lulu stores in the area

Everyone is usually pretty nice and helpful . I had a very uncomfortable experience with an older lady with a blonde hair and a roller in her bangs . I was waiting in line because there was already a customer they were helping and she said helloooooo I’m open , I said I’m sorry i didn’t know . Then I put my things down and she’s like my section is over here (where the other customer was standing ) so I pick up the things and move them . I said thank you at the end and she didn’t even look at me , it was like she was annoyed to be there. Also very unprofessional to leave a roller in your hair .

Been to this Hyde Park location multiple times, normally have great friendly service, today I did not. Brittney was completely rude and interrogating when I tried to bring in two brand new pairs of leggings that had strings falling off of them. Once she finally agreed to replace them, she said I’ll wait here instead of going and getting them for me (like other associates have done) I normally shop online so I was unfamiliar inside the store. Instead of saying “oh let me help you” she proceeds to ask another employee if they can help me, which they were busy with another customer, so she stands there. Then once I come back she exchanges them and half way folds them on the counter and says “you’re good to go” doesn’t bag them for me. So I proceed to fold them myself and put them in my bag.

I work in customer service myself and that was some of the worst I’ve ever seen. If you don’t like people work behind a desk.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
The worst customer service ever by their manager or assistant manager on duty today.
I just walked out of this store with my husband(a first responder ) and while we were able to order some things online at the store that they didn’t have in stock and as the young employee saw on my husband profile, she honored the first responder discount.
We were about to purchase two more items and when we got to the register the manager there refused to honor his first responder discount.
Not happy with that ,she was bothered and obviously upset that I asked if some makeup bag was available at the store.
We don’t mind paying the full price as we also appreciate the recognition to militaries and first responders, is the manner and the lack of professionalism that the manager showe.
I have been shopping in Lululemons for years but I can assure I will never go back to this store in Hyde park!
I will continue to International plaza and avoid this hideous way of treating their customers.
I will advise you train your management better and that besides anything you else, CUSTOMERS COME FIRST.
Whether you like your job or not, whether you want to be there or not.
Because that manager definitely doesn’t like her job and delivered the worse experience ever

I have contemplated leaving a review since my observance of an interaction at the Hyde Park location.

First off I’ll start by saying very convenient location if you live in South Tampa which is why I end up here most of the time instead of going to West Shore location unless on that side of town. Store is usually pretty clean and organized as well.

I also imagine it’s quite frustrating working at this particular location - affluent Hyde Park and 10 year olds with their parents Amex all day. It’s quite a sight to see and you can see it all over the associates faces. Of course not all customers have daddy’s money but at this store you might as well be put into the same category as everyone else because no one has a personality or seems to care - probably works there for the discount meanwhile being nasty to all its customers BUT Lulu keeps them coming back.

Over the weekend (always very busy) if you’re in the checkout line it’s appears many are in line but are in fact just standing around because of the amount merchandise they put by checkout (like Sephora) so one that’s confusing and frustrating but I’ll live.

Three maybe even four registers unsure if every screen is a “register” but two associates checking customers out and two behind chatting. No greeting from any associate from what I observed or experienced and look like a deer in headlights once you actually get to the register.

I watched a woman come in and want to return something she purchased online (good on her for shopping online saves you the headache from shopping at this store) and there seems to be some confusion with her method of payment and card she used.

The associate who was helping her had to ask another associate I’m guessing maybe she was manager or assistant manager and as she began to explain how the return worked and card attached to the purchased wasn’t the card on the slip of paper you could hear and see how condescending the associate became to the customer- (in my mind I was like damn who hurt you girl where you can just talk to another woman like that) it was actually very sad, I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing actually & wish I said something and I’m sorry I didn’t.

Needless to say the customer was unable to return the item.

Kindness goes along way. I’m sure corporate doesn’t care about the associates they hire or their characters but should care about the customers and how they’re treated no matter their social class.
