It was our first time trying Lee's Kitchen + Cocktails a few weeks ago with my parents. I was excited to see that there were quite a few vegetarian offerings along with things that my parents would like. When the food came, we were really impressed with how big the portions were and how incredibly fresh and delicious the food was. Here's what we tried:

- spring rolls - delicious with light and fresh ingredients that go really well with the peanut sauce

- Lee's salt & Pepper tofu - this tofu was quite unique. It felt light and well seasoned. The interior was soft and the outside was crispy and not too chewy.

- fried oyster mushrooms - this was the star. Super crispy with a hearty delicious interior

-Hainan Chicken - My Dad ordered this and liked it

- Vermicelli bowl with tofu & egg roll - fresh and yummy

-Morning glory - this was well seasoned and had a nice flavor. Sometimes a little tough

-rice bowl with crispy tofu & vegetarian egg roll - similar to the vermicelli bowl but rice instead of noodles

The dishes come with a side of fish sauce and they had a vegetarian version which we really appreciated. It was a fantastic flavor and complimented the vermicelli and rice really well.

Overall the food was very good. The only thing that we noticed was that the tofu was cooked the same across all dishes. Although it was very delicious, it would be cool if the tofu appetiser was different from the entree.

The margarita was very tasty!

Next time I want to try their happy hour!

We sat outside and the scenery was nice! The host was friendly even though it was really busy and packed inside.

Our main server was kinda brisk and awkward. As managers at Vietnamese restaurants ourselves (my roommate and I went), I'm not sure if service is the best fit for her?
She just stood there and I had to start saying what our order was...no "what can I get you, or how are you?"

She Id'ed us and came back 10 minutes later to verify my ID again...cause my ID was expired and out of date. It is not. There's not a problem with reverifying IDs, but way she "asked" was blunt and not friendly.

The other servers were really nice and friendly, though. But this was definitely our first and last time here.

The food tasted pretty good. The fried oyster mushrooms were really big, so it a bit hard to eat because the batter and mushroom fell apart when I tried to eat them. The dandan noodles were good but the sauce was a bit soupy, so the noodles tasted bland.
The drink tasted ok...a bit unimpressive for $14.

My family dined here and we had a mixed experience. Though the decor was nice and the staff tried to do their best food needs to be better.

The place was nestled in the corner of the shopping complex next to Tesla chargers. Lots of parking and calm surroundings. There was indoor and outdoor seating, with nice decor, loved the fresh flowers on the table and soothing music.
Tried the prawns , tenderloin stir fry and pho.
Prawns was yum and quantity good for the price. Beef was a hit and miss with some pieces completely raw. Pho was good but the chicken was not fresh and tasted like cardboard. We could not chew the chicken, it was too hard and dry.
Service was decent, food came quick and was presented with sauces when asked. Would expect the server to check on us in the middle but that didn’t happen.
After showing the raw beef they deducted from the bill but didn’t feel like they took the feedback as the server was tying to say that is how it is supposed to be. Well it would if the order was tartare, but it was not. Tried this place as my kid wanted to try his school friends family business . Experience could be drastically better if care was taken to serve better food. Hope they get better, cheering for them.

What a great find. The food is excellent and the menu has something for everyone. The prices are as expected for Westlake, but they are worth it. In addition to the food being very well prepared, they are a decent portion size. A entre and a appetizer is really enough for two. But you will likely want to sample more varieties of dishes. The service is very good and the waitstaff know the menu. The atmosphere is good but it is in a strip mall, so there are limits. Just go try this place out. You won't be disappointed.

A lot smaller inside than I expected.
It's very clean and the decor is nice
The manager was very good she came to ask how the replacement pandan waffles was as the others were not esthetically pleasing

The pandan waffles were so good and dud not need syrup or anything
The fried chicken was very good as well with the fish sauce as the dipping

Vermicelli is enough for 2 people.

The Cafe su da espresso martini is good you taste the coffee but it is a little thick

The dragon slayer margaritas was also super good especially for a hot day

The waiter was very good at answering any questions we had as well. There are a few more dishes I'd like to come back and try and hope to see more pandan items as well as possibly some ube things

A true gem in West Lake Hills. The Vietnamese Carpaccio was other worldly, and I truly enjoyed the Pad Krapow.

It's now a regular destination. Highly recommended.

I am a huge Chinese fan ever since I left Texas to live in New York City's Chinatown.

Therefore, when I moved back to Austin, I think my expectations were too high.

That being said, when Lee's Kitchen + Cocktails opened up in Westlake Hills, Texas near Austin, I knew I must visit.

I arrived with two friends at 1pm on a Thursday afternoon when the restaurant was getting ready for the lunar new year celebrations.

We were seating quickly in a booth, and while it did take our server a while to get our order in the busy lunch rush, we ordered the Hainan chicken (which i thought was tasteless), the vietnamese shaken beef (divine, highly recommend), and the pork pho (mediocre).

I think you dine on better Chinese food at either Chinatown or Jade in Westlake/Rollingwood in my opinion, but the space is very nice and service is friendly.

Took my family there and sat outside.

It was a wonderful night with very good service.

We had more than two… rounds of the chicken wings, sampled the tofu and had the chicken friend rice and Pho. All were very good. Each dish was paired with a side sauce that went very well with the overall dish.

The cocktails were yummy and i hear they have a good happy hour.

We will be back and it’s nice to be tucked away from a pass through section of the shopping complex.

Where few places last I truly hope this place does. Any place that can help me intro Pho to a seven year old and love it is incredible.
