If this Krav Mega lolcation were a dungeons & dragons character they would be the Goblins. They both exhibit the legally evil characteristics. They will do everything hing they can to squeeze you, harass you, and control you to the limit of the law.

If you want Krav Mega, which is awesome, choose another location.

High pressure to get yourself a membership here. This is followed by high pressure if you try to leave. If you're within your contract they are vicious on enforcing it and they make it hard to leave. My financial institution actually had them on a ban list.

My primary credit union wouldn't accept their charges when I signed up because they were listed as an often contested vendor so I used a regular credit card.

Response to their reply: Their reply is exactly what you get. You "voluntarily" enter a contract is legalize that you owe to the debt of a contract. That's chose the wording specifically. To voluntarily enter a contract you need competence, consideration, clarity, and consent.

They also went on the "assumed" attack and stated that blocking a charge isn't a ban list. This showcases the aggressive collections behavior rely to squeeze you of every dollar in a legal way.

My job requires me to have good credit so I paid the entire year and left the contract early. I never blocked their charge. I did VOLUNTARILY enter the contract and I knew my obligations.

With that said, I was having some family issues, my Dad had cancer, and the aggressive behavior was a real turn off. When I left and I felt relief.

I assume that people are getting into financial hardship and this business will constantly hit the credit cards or bank accounts over and over while making constant calls.

They absolutely split hairs and use all legal tricks, essentially bullying around their clients.

(You're talking to someone with a legal degree.)

This is where I would suspect their next reply is, "We didn't say you blocked the charge" or something similar to that and all they wanted to do is clarify their stance.

I assume a lot of their customers block charges because of the terms of their contract. Maybe you forget to cancel within a 30-day term and then they hold you for the next year.

During my time there everyone who wanted to exit the contract looked stressed and several times I saw people storm out.

To everyone, understand that if you may have second thoughts on this, you will owe the year contract so prepare your finances for an aggressive year of commitment either to your health or your finances. If you don't, this company WILL attack your credit.

They will call you obsessively and they will harass you legally because they are allowed to l, you owe them money.

Places like this gym/Krav Mega bank on the fact that you sign up and don't go. That's the only way they can make money. That's why they are so aggressive in making sure you pay.

There are many Krav Mega places that do not have aggressive terms and there are other facilities that you can go to that do not need to hold you to the legaleze of a VOLUNTARY contract doctrine that they will use to attack your credit.

There are many voluntary contracts that will let you in and out as your lifestyle changes.

I have been attending KMMD for almost 10 years and I love it. If you hate working out, but love the results, this is the place for you. If you want a gym with a familial supportive feel, this is the place. If you are looking for a place where you will learn valuable skills that will keep you safe, this is the place.

I never had any MMA/Self-defense training before. I was into lifting weights and wanted some HIIT since I dislike boring cardio. This was exactly what I was looking for and needed. I lost 23 pounds in four weeks (with proper eating). Additionally, the team is very encouraging and motivating. They pushed me to get that extra minute, strikes and/or kicks out of me. One of the best things I ever did!

AMAZING PLACE run by INCREDIBLE instructors that genuinely care about their members!
I visited many schools before deciding on this one, it is 30 minutes from home but it is worth the drive for me. This school will hold you accountable to attend because you will learn something new each time but they will also review previous tactics because repetition is key as well.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL!

I had an amazing time participating in their 6 week women’s self defense seminar. The skills built on each other very well and I felt confident and empowered throughout the course to protect myself and remove myself from danger. The instructors were awesome and I felt able to be vulnerable and challenge myself. Such a great experience!

I took the women's self-defense 6 week course and highly recommend it for all women! It was worth every penny. I learned so many life-saving techniques and appreciated how patient the instructors (Jeremy and Sandra) were. The class was also empowering because we were able to practice on partners (both women and men) and learn in an inclusive setting. The skills I learned are ones that I hope I'll never need, but glad I know. I'll definitely be back if they have another seminar like this!

They charged me $45 weekly for a one-year contract. I’m not sure if the price went up or not. How much do they charge these days? I spoke with the students. Some were paying $100 bucks per month.
