I've been a member at Krav Maga Experts for 2+ years and I don't plan on quitting ever! It's a fun and friendly atmosphere. Everyone from beginners to the most advanced are like family. The instructors are all former IDF and are the best teachers. Everyone is very motivating and will push you to the best of your ability. It's better than going to the gym and running on a treadmill. I prefer Krav Maga Experts than any other school out there.

Krav Maga Experts is a fantastic school and I can't recommend it enough. You won't be able to find better teachers out there. They know their stuff! The teachers and the students both are very welcoming and are all around great people, which makes the community feel less like a gym where people only come for class, and more like a big family. I trained at Krav Maga Experts for a little over a year and every day I went to take class it was always the highlight of my day. I recently moved to a different city and I'm already missing the classes, the students, and the teachers. This place is one of a kind.

I honestly think there should be better regulation of these places. I tried this out in January and in the intro class re awakened an old injury due to the instructor not being properly educated on anatomy and basic injury prevention. It was a kicking class and I have a recurring knee injury but was told I would be fine...I was not.
I fell for the pay $150 now pressure tactic of joining as I hoped things would get better but one class in to that and I realized I had made a big mistake. Due to my injury incurred in intro class I was told my membership would be frozen and I would be contacted in three months to re asses the situation. I was not contacted.....I had to reach out to them after almost 4 months.
I have been in the fitness industry as a writer for many worldwide publications and websites for 30 years so I think I know what I am talking about.
For the average person with no real fitness background this may seem wonderful. However to any professional this is about as far from wonderful as it gets.
If you do go I strongly advise you to forgo the pressure "sign up now" offer ...take your time to asses the situation. Or you will end up out of pocket like I did.

The classes are good, the instructors are helpful, and the whole experience is very physically intense.

However, after explaining carefully how I could only attend classes for one month and that's all I needed, they still went ahead and had me pay for two.

That's $100 wasted in my case but could've been more. I'm a student drowned in the debt associated with it and I didn't need that.

I've been training at KME for just over a year, and I cannot recommend them enough. The trainers are professional, approachable, and WILL push you further than you thought you could go. Not to mention the lovely, warm, and embracing community KME has fostered. Awesome people, amazing workouts, and a skill that will make you feel poised and ready to take on anything. 5/5 Would get my ass kicked on a twice weekly basis again 😉

love it!
Especially the union square location, beautiful and they have a gym included in the membership (no extra cost!).
Got everything I was looking for as an alternative for the boring workout at the gym and I'm glad I found it.
The classes are cool, intense and I love that I'm learning something new each time.

If anyone wants to learn the authentic self Defense system of Krav Maga, IKM is what you need. Tsahi Shemesh is great with his students and his skills are masterful , Yiftach is a great instructor as well, and the whole team has a high level of experience you need to accomplish your goal. Not only will you learn proper techniques to protect yourself from danger, but your getting a full body workout and cardio. I am a level 1 Krav Maga practishioner and i have to say if i could give it more than 5 stars i will.

BEST SCHOOL FOR SELF DEFENSE period!!

So far so good. The environment is highly positive. I think in the end, it's about finding the right instructor there. Perfect for someone brand new to martial arts, or looking to rekindle old skills.
