My husband and I were visiting from Texas. Our stay at Kenosha Lodge was very special and memorable. Christopher and Anastasia are the kindest people. We enjoyed a nice evening by the fire with them and felt a special bond. We were sad to say goodbye. We stayed in the River Room and Sky Room. Each room had it's own charm and character. We loved the atmosphere but especially the hospitality and friendship we received. We hope we're able to return next year. Thank you!

We have a camper in Fairplay and we still opt to stay at the lodge. For the amazing rooms, hospitality and scenery. It was beautiful in the fall! Chris and Anastasia are special people - very kind and hard working. We're looking forward to going back and are excited to see their business evolve 🙂

Lovely, rustic, charming, unique, beautiful, peaceful, and magical are just a few of the words I’d use to describe Kenosha Lodge. The owners are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and so accommodating. The rooms are not only affordable, but they’re so clean, cozy, and stylishly decorated with what could only be love. My dogs and I didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to come back. In a world where we are so often let down because we are sold on hype, Kenosha Lodge is truly a breath of fresh air, a bonafide treat! ✨?️️

This little motel was exactly what I needed after a very long day of air travel and being too tired to drive the entire 3 hours home from Denver. We didn’t arrive until 12:30am but the lodge stayed in contact with us about the code to our room (they actually left it unlocked for us as well, just in case). We stayed in the River Room and the sound of the river behind the building as we fell asleep was wonderful. Even being so close to 285, it was very quiet. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was super comfy, and I loved seeing all of the hummingbirds visiting the feeders in the morning when we left.

Only four stars on location because of Highway/car noise. Check in office doubles as liquor store which could be helpful for some to know! Lots of nice homey touches and cool wood fixtures. We definitely stay again for the value.

Very comfortable room, complete with microwave, fridge, and Keurig coffee maker. River at the back of property, with some benches to sit on. I loved the covered porch outside my door to sit on during afternoon rain storms. It’s an old motel and a bit rundown, but the owners are nice and the liquor store/office also has soft drinks and snacks.

Stayed here on a whim before starting another leg of the Colorado Trail on mountain bikes. They accommodated our last minute booking and the owners/hunter the sheep are all very hospitable. Food truck looked pretty tasty too. All around a neat hole in the wall place and would stay again.

Our family of 3 is on a road trip, just going day by day. I am so glad we found this sweet place. The room was great, had everything we needed, but more importantly, Christopher was such a gracious host. He built a fire so we could sit outside and enjoy the stars! I loved getting to chat with other guests! We will absolutely be back and recommend to friends!
