Beau magasin grand et avec un choix d'articles impressionnant. Le magasin est propre et les caisses sont assez rapides.
J'ai trouvé tout ce dont je cherchais, et même pris ce que je ne cherchais pas.
Petit bémol tout de meme sur le "Affy Tapple" où j'ai eu une pomme pourrie à l'intérieur. Malgré tout, avec ça et un caissier un peu plus aimable, ce magasin serait au top !

Nice, friendly staff, great lunch options, they have a beef and blue cheese wrap... oh so good. The chicken station always full and fresh, bakery has a great selection. My favorite jewels in town and I drive everywhere for work.

This is the worst Jewel I’ve ever visited in 25+ yrs of shopping at Jewel. This was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had in America. Basically, the store put me though a long check-out line four times until they made me give up on UDeals. If he knew about the malfunctioning digital coupon system, why would he make me go through the long check-out line again? I was unaware of the inconsistency in prices and the business practices with honoring sales and coupons amongst different JEWEL stores.

Not until I approached the cash register after waiting in a long line. Being a frugal and smart shopper, I clipped all the digital coupons and picked out all the items based on the sale prices on their labels. As I always do, I checked the receipt handed to me and realized I had paid the full regular prices for all the items in the cart and no discount nor any digital coupons were applied at all. To my DISAPPOINTMENT, I asked the cash register “what happened?” He just pointed me to talk to the customer service (CS).

I proceeded to speak to the lady at the CS who started interrogating me about different prices for every single items one by one. I had a cart full of stuff, and couldn’t spit out all the different prices for each item. I am over 50 yr old with a gray hair and felt that her demand was unrealistic expectations for me let alond using the phone app! Then, she made me run back and forth between the front desk and the isles because I couldn’t remember the exact prices for the sale labels. I was becoming frustrated by then because I had already spent a few hours there and had a dinner appt with my relatives approaching fast. Having 39 items in the cart she and I had to comb through, I asked her to speak to the manager. She asked me if I want to talk to the corporate office for the matter. I declined. The Assistant Manager came out with an apathetic look on his face with no apology whatsoever and asked me go back on the long line again to wait to go through the cash register again. “Try again to check out and if it doesn’t work, have them call me.”

I patiently took his advice and with no complaint, I went back on the line and waited. Sure enough, the same outcome with no coupons/discounts applied they promised in the advertisement. The case register started to go through one by one asking me what was on sale and trying to adjust the prices. She said, “this happens a lot.” What were they then? Lies, bait and switch tactics, broken system, or a total corporate failure with the worst insensitive customer service just because the store is located in Gold Coast where the richest people in the city live and shop? A middle class person who works as a medical social worker like me is mistreated and poorly attended while trying to shop smart because I don’t matter to them and they don’t care. They were very rude and ridiculous.

When I called in for a manager to intervene as I saw the line behind grew longer and longer in double fold, triple fold. I apologized to the patrons behind me waiting wearily. The manager came along acting as if nothing happened couldn’t do anything but saying “the system is not working. The company should get rid of it.” He appeared he didn’t want to deal with me or do anything to address the issue. To my DISMAY, I couldn’t leave the store because I felt cheated, lied to my face, and underhanded. I felt upset because the business practices they engage in are very dishonest, unprofessional, inconsistent, and crude.

I was trying to feed the family, but spending, (more accurately wasting) a couple hours already going though the isles and talking to multiple people was exhausting. In the end, I returned everything and walked out of the store with the empty hands. What’s even funny is that the lady at the front desk, she didn’t even care to check the total prices on the two different receipts to see if they match. It was a laughable!!

This is a good Jewel Osco store. Nice modern interior. Had the things I was looking for. Really appreciate them selling Boar's Head deli products, as my closest location does not offer them. Friendly staff at the deli. Produce section could have been a little better but it wasn't terrible. Everything seemed orderly for this smaller location. Will definitely return next time I am in Chicago.

Had never been to a Jewel-Osco before visiting Chicago. It's a nice store, and very organized, but it is extremely expensive for anyone on any sort of budget.

I love this Jewel osco. It’s surprisingly good and way better than the Aldi on division st. I like it more than the jewel in west loop too. Of all the jewels the produce and fruit is the best here. I always use the app and clip deals and it’s possible to save so much money if you stick to fresh produce!! Literally cents on the dollar I don’t even shop anywhere else. Sometimes I get huge coupons too like $40 off $75 in the app. I ordered for delivery and they brought it up to my apartment and left it outside my door instead of leaving it in the lobby. They definitely go above in beyond. I actually wish they would add an option to increase my tip after delivery because I noticed I wasn’t able to do that and after my good experience I wanted to thank the driver more.

So this is my local Jewel-Osco in Old Town / Gold Coast. It is always very clean and organized and has a great selection of groceries and more. They also do quite a bit of grab and go so it is super convenient. I walked there yesterday to pick up a couple of things. As a real estate agent for over 16 years and living in the city for over 21, it was the first time I have ever seen a bride walking through Jewel. She looked beautiful and had fun friends and her husband was waiting at the front with the groomsmen. I asked if I could take a pic because I have NEVER seen this before and they all started cracking up. I want to be their real estate broker!

Beware of the Deli

Got berated by a female deli worker for ordering a pound of sliced ham. When I asked for the order I was given eye rolls, huffing and puffing, repeating my order asking "who orders this?", stares from the employee while cutting the meat, etc. No employees walking past while this went on got involved, and no manager was available when requested. Will never be back. I would recommend looking elsewhere for lunchmeat.
