Since my review was deleted and I was blocked from the Facebook page, I am now leaving my review here. I received a phone call from the manager of the store and feel I was spoken to rudely and her customer service skills were very poor.
I am a 30 year old woman and have been shopping with them since I was around 16 years old after they supported my mother after her breast cancer. I have always had good things to say about them but unfortunately this time had not been so great.
Every time I have ordered in the past I have left with my bra and always been happy. This time round I came in 6 months after I had given birth. None of my current bras fitted me due to this. I came to purchase 3 bras. I left happy with one bra and ordered the exact same one in another colour and one other completely different and was assured I was ordering a bra I had previously got from your store a few years back but would need to wait on it. I paid upfront and was not informed that I would not be entitled to a refund if there was any issues or problems, should I have known this I would not have ordered as being a mother every penny is budgeted for.
I came in a week or so later to collect and was handed these and basically shown the door. As I have never order a bra in before I was unsure if I would be able to try these on or not. As I was unsure I took these home due to been practically shoved out. I took them home and obviously the bra I had tried on and purchased on the day in the other colour fitted but the other not only was it not the bra I was assured, it was also far too big. I went back to the store a few days later after a failed attempted due to the shop being closed. Upon my return the lady was just about to help a bride. I started to explain that I was here to return the bra. I never got the opportunity to fully explain as the sales assistant advised she was busy and I would need to come back at a later time, she took the bra from me and wrote me credit note without an explanation anything other than she was busy.
I came back in to order the bra I was originally looking for and was told she was unsure she could have it in on time due to needing more orders. Which I understood and explained if this was the case I wouldn’t order and would like a refund. She advised she would speak to the manager. She called me back the same day to advised it wouldn’t be in on time and I requested a refund again she advise me she would need to speak with the manager.
I am not long off the phone with the manager and I have been left very upset due to her being so rude. She explained they do not give refund unless there was a fault in the bra and I have not enter your contact and will not be issued with one. I explained that if I had known this I would not have pre paid or ordered as I am on a tight budget. She advised rudely this was my responsibility to ask this. She also implied that this is my fault and should have known I was able to try it on and would not have needed to be told from the sales assistant. Her words were ‘well did you ask to try it on’ and once I replied no as I was unsure and felt they should have offered she responded ‘well that’s just difference in opinion’ and that I should have been more persists and not have left the shopped when looking to return the bra.
I have worked in customer service roles my entire working life and this is no way to treat customers.
