Great old-timey general store! Candy, candles, toys, puzzles, cookware, kitchen specialty items, specialty coffee and teas, a Christmas section, women's boutique items, men's specialty items, various flavors of honey, etc. Lots of items in every price range.

This was such an awesome store. If the decorations alone don't put a smile on your face, the polite staff surely will. The store is huge with so much to look at, and delicious treats. I'd recommend getting a sample of Bubba D's BBQ sauce. I went with the family, and we all had a blast

Beautiful store! Well organized and kept. Most staff were welcoming and friendly. They have so many beautiful things to look at. If I were a local, this would be a place I would shop for unique gifts. It's a little pricey but it's nice to have these options available.

I recently visited this store while passing through town, and I am absolutely appalled by the way I was treated. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how cluttered the store was, especially the holiday displays. The Christmas ornament section was so crammed that it was impossible to even look at an item without something falling off.

Sure enough, an ornament accidentally fell from the packed display, and instead of acknowledging their poorly arranged setup, the staff that was stalking me from the moment I walked in actually demanded I pay for the broken item. I was shocked! The whole situation was handled with a level of rudeness and disregard that I’ve never experienced in a store before. As an out-of-town visitor, I expected at least a basic level of understanding, but instead, they made me feel like I was at fault for their overcrowded mess.

To make matters worse, they charged me $12.50 for what was literally the ugliest ornament, a bowl of soup! I can’t believe how unprofessional and downright rude the staff was. I will never step foot in this store again, and I’ll make sure to warn others. Good luck running a business by ripping off customers and treating them like garbage!

Don’t bring your beverage in because they will take it behind the counter. Who knows what they are doing with it. You can’t trust anyone these days. I had water in my cup. I’m a very responsible mom of 5 grown kids. I have never spilled my water on any merchandise.
Also, the fudge and truffles taste like candles and fragrance. I would not trust any open treats from there. Overall this place seems nice but expensive and not friendly.

This place has the neatest (unique) gifts in the area. The shop is kinda split into 3- kitchen, candy shop/kids/gifts, and a male oriented shop. All 3 areas are put together in a way that is welcoming and not overwhelming. You can find old school candy options and yummy homemade(?) fudge/ truffles. It’s really a fun place to get gifts and a candy treat.

Yeah, it’s a tourist trap, and most of the stuff in here is pretty expensive. I didn’t really find anything that screamed San Angelo that I wanted to take home to family or friends. They have lots of cool novelty stuff but you can find most if it in the big cities. Nothing really unique to San Angelo.

Kives, jewelry, wine, candy, coffee, and much more can be found here.

Here’s where they shine: The confectioneries, homemade jams, salsas, chili mixes, soup mixes, etc. None of them are made by Eggemeyers (including the chocolates in my pix) but they are all from nearby Texas regions and they’re all so damned good.

All in all, it’s a fun place to kill some time in. There are three separate parts of the building, so make sure you check them all out.

NOTE: No exchanges or returns - this is printed on the receipt but I didn’t see any signage indicating this prior to the sale.
