As I’ve got older, my breasts have definitely changed in both size and shape; I decided it was time to have myself professionally sorted out. I booked an appointment with Madeline who expertly measured me and then, having shown me exactly how to put on a bra, handed me a selection to try. Firstly, I couldn’t believe how wildly far out I was in my understanding of what size I actually was, secondly how my whole shape and posture changed with wearing a properly fitting bra and finally, the vast choice on offer meant I came out with three bras in the exact colours I wanted. What was interesting, as Madeline correctly pointed out: different makes and styles of bra will often have slight variations in sizes. I did indeed leave with three bras of three different sizes and which all fitted beautifully. I can’t praise Madeline enough for her professionalism, her care and her complete commitment to giving her customer the best service. Anyway, I shall be returning soon (for that red bra!!) and some swimwear . All I can say is, go on, treat yourself!!!

HIGHLY recommended. Neck and upper back pain has significantly improved since I’ve started wearing the cutest, prettiest bras from design also. I had no idea this bra fitting service was going to change my life. I feel much more confident and free. Lifts the weight off your shoulders - literally and psychologically. I went to see Madeline after experiencing lower back/hip issues and it has been transformative for me. My posture is much improved and back pain has gone. It is important to surrender yourself to the fitting process and have faith in Madeline’s skill and advice. I now have a new found love of lace bras when I thought I only liked a moulded cup. I have also returned for swimwear and sports bras. My advice would be to allow yourself plenty of time for your appointment; you may start and finish late as Madeline is busy and also dedicated to finding the right fit for you. Enjoy it!

I can thoroughly recommend Design Also. Madeline provides a friendly traditional bra fitting service. She is such a lovely person & has so much knowledge of her stock & how to get the perfect fit. I have been going there for years and have recommended her to friends and family. All her bras and lingerie are gorgeous and very reasonably priced for the quality and style. I used to have a lot of aching and stiffness at the back of my neck but since wearing bras which fit well this has completely gone and my posture is much improved. Everything I wear looks so much better on me too. I also like that Madeline collects old bras for a charity which sends them out to new mothers in Africa. All in all a wonderful and very personal bra fitting experience.

Madeline is very professional, knowleadgeable, honest and kind. She takes the time to really know what you need, and does not sell just anything. She is thorough and gives great advice regarding underwear.
I have been going to Design Also for a bit more than 2 years, and do not see myself buying a bra anywhere else. I have bought bras for my pregnancy, breastfeeding and after and with all these stages I have been very satisfied with all the bras she has fitted me.
Definitely recommend her and her shop.

I have now had several years of experience of wearing bras fitted by Madeline.A significant benefit of having well fitted bra is that it has definitely improved the postural strain on my upper back and neck. I am a physiotherapist and have over years recommended to patients to improve their support of a bra to lessen the strain on their neck,shoulders and upper back - this has been borne out by my experience. Madeline is knowledgable , thorough and experienced . She also keeps a wonderful selection of colourful, interesting bras that are a welcome find for anyone who is plus size and well endowed:)

I’m so glad I took the plunge to make an appointment here. Madeline was wonderful, explaining how she fits, and why. Nothing was too much trouble and bra after bra was tried on. Once Madeline knew what sizes/colours/styles worked for me she ordered in more for my second visit and I’m the proud owner of some delightful underwear. The prices are so reasonable too, especially when you get one to one service. It’s a delight to go there. Highly recommended.

Design Also is a gem of a find….Expertly fitted bras, a lovely selection and great value for money! Madeline is one in a million, a master in fitting bras and swimwear ..properly as it should be to correct posture, provide the correct support and maximum comfort. My bras fit so perfectly I can't even feel them there! I really can’t recommended enough.
