I loved the owner. She was so sweet!
Mini egg rolls were so good!
The broken rice dishes were delicious
I also got the bun rieu which I don’t recommend, however to be fair I got bun rieu at a rice place haha!

The restaurant is nice, but lack of customer service. Worse than that, you can taste the food is OLD and dry like about to be spoiled. I tried the exact same dish before their grand opening, compared to this is no where near. I will not return and not recommend!

Did not have a great meal at this new place. Owner, please take this as Constructive criticism. Your bun rieu barely has any protein in it. After 5-6 bite, only the noodle remain. Don’t be cheap, add more protein in the noodles. And the com dac biet, the pork chop is alittle bland, the egg cake was COLD and the rice is mushy. I had never had worst rice in any com restaurant in Houston. Work on your quality control, and I’m sure your customer will appreciate it and return.

The restaurant was very clean. Very nice atmosphere. Restrooms were clean too! The owner was super welcoming and paid a lot of attention to our experience. She was super sweet and attentive. From how the utensils were wrapped to how she brings out fresh condiments for each dish, we could tell she really cares about the food she serves. We got the Salted Iced coffee, Bun Bo Hue, Com Bo Luc Lac and Banh Bot Chien. All were tasty, and we were glad we made the stop. The taste reminded me of home-style cooking. Gotta come back and try the clay pot family dishes!

1000% recommend this place!! We ordered the cơm tắm thịt nướng and it was really good! The ambiance is very nice and comfortable. We absolutely adored the owner, Maria Angel tuyết!! She was conversing with us and made us feel right at home!! I will be coming back and bringing some friends!

Mình tìm google quán Cơm tấm bạn tôi, nhưng khi gọi thì mới biết là đổi thành quán Cơm Quê. Mình nói muốn order Cơm tấm sườn, tàu hủ ky, chạo tôm, lặp lại 3 lần, nhưng nhân viên nói là món đó gọi là Cơm tấm đặc biệt. Mình nghĩ ok, gọi sao cũng được miễn là có sườn, tàu hủ ky, chạo tôm là được. Khi mình tới pickup thì thấy họ làm 1 hộp có sườn, bì, trứng chiên, với tàu hủ ky. Nếu vậy sao nhân viên ko nói từ đầu là ko phải món mình muốn order? Xong mình thấy thôi kệ order rồi ko lấy cũng tội nghiệp quán nên thôi mình cũng đi trả tiền. $15 cho 1 đĩa cơm mình thấy rất mắc so với nhiều quán khác ở Houston. Về nhà ráng ăn thử thì thấy thật sự là quá dở, ko ăn nổi. Đừng tới quán này.

I had a nice experience here. The service and attitude of the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Angel, the manager, was very involved in helping us to order our dishes and drinks. She has nice energy. The food was very good and tasty, I enjoyed every dish that was choosen. I would return to try other dishes. The cost is okay, I spent more than expected, but it was fine. I would recommend to anyane liking rice dishes with egg, pork options and tasty drinks.
