Great staff. Very knowledgeable and polite. My daughter couldn’t get snowboarding and she went back and got skis and was back on the slopes.
It’s so handy to have Christy sports in GrandTimber Lodge. What a wonderful staff Christy Sports has there.

Assistant Manager Tyler Magnuson set me up with a Demo rental that was really worth the extra money for a week of skiing. They were Solomon QST 98, 183 cm, skis that I loved, and many times in lift lines I got a "those are great skis!" from fellow skiers. Tyler will get you in and out on pickup day in no time, and dropoff is 30 seconds with an optional handshake. If you are staying at Grand Timber Lodge, you can walk to Christy Sports in your Flipflops and hot-tub robe. They won't even blink. Also, if you rent boots, they have cubbies that you can leave your shoes in so you don't have to worry about them until you return for drop-off, or you can't get them on the way to the Hot Tub. From this location you can ski straight down a short trail to the Peak 9 base and the Beaver Run lift.

As an owner at Grand Timber for more than 20 years, I’ve rented skis from this location countless times. They’ve been consistently excellent and run a very smooth operation. I rented for four days following MLK weekend. They have my ski length on file so when I walked in they knew exactly what I needed. This year was different because I had several guests including a toddler who all needed skis boots helmets and a snowboard package. They got everyone set up quickly and efficiently and all were satisfied with their experience. If you’re staying on the property, this is the place to go. They’ll take great care of you!

Tyler and Sam-Ferro were just amazing. They did an outstanding job helping us get fitted and then when my son had issues, they helped find comfort in his boots and refitted him to make him more comfortable. They went the extra mile discussing runs, recommendations for travel, and were just over the top in customer service. Most of all, they never rushed us and listened to my family. We picked up early the night before and our family of four was in and out in 10 minutes. Every single staff member worked to ensure we were safe, comfortable, and ready to ski. And their prices beat everyone else on the mountain. This place exudes customer service and ensuring the best possible experience. We will continue to give our business to Christy Sports at Grand Timber Lodge. Literally the best ski experience we’ve ever had.

I would highly recommend Christy Sports and its staff. The location is extremely convention to Grand Timber Lodge. The first day I wasn't happy with the set of Skies, I went to the location and they switch mine out with no issues. They are the best value in the area for Ski rentals.

This is the best service I’ve EVER had renting skis! I have rented at numerous Christy Sports and other rental places and this one was the most exceptional service I’ve ever had. I felt really taken care of and the guys (Tim, Rob and team were amazing) answered all of my questions while making sure my gear was fit perfectly for me. Cannot recommend this location enough!

The staff at the Grand Timber Lodge location have always taken great care of us!! We've been owners at the resort since 1998. Their online rental system was easy to navigate, but it's their personal interactions that are the BEST! They took the time to work with me and my foot issues and find a boot that worked the best. They work hard to fit you in the best solution for you and if that doesn't work, they are happy to make changes. I highly recommend them!
