Lovely clean and bright room, but somewhat on the small side. Bathroom sink was really on the small size , had to be extra careful when turning on the tap as it shot out and soaked my blouse. No milk , tea or coffee in our ( room 5 ) when we arrived, had to ask the exceptionally polite young lady on the reception desk if she could get them, she sorted it out immediately and apologised. Breakfast was perfect for us. a huge selection of fresh fruit , the best continental I've ever has, first class.

Boutique 50 is on a quiet street in the West End, walking distance to the university, park and restaurants. We stayed in a family room, and it was very spacious for 3 adults and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was sparkling clean and modern. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend! This boutique hotel had every amenity we could ask for and was eager to please, providing water bottles and delivering beer and wine to our room late at night. Another plus: we had no trouble finding street parking out front. Would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed for one night after a concert at the Hydro. Is on a quiet street about 7 mins walk from the Hydro. A handsome building with a lovely entrance/hallway. We were in room 4. It was quite small but as we were only there the one night it wasn’t an issue. The en-suite was very small - my hubby kept bashing against the shower cubicle when on the loo & I had to stand at a weird angle to brush my teeth as there wasn’t enough room for my arm! Otherwise the room was very nicely presented with a comfy bed, coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer and record player. There were toiletries in the bathroom plus little emergency “kits” if you had forgotten something, eg toothbrush- nice thought! Also, complimentary slippers. Unfortunately guests in another room were talking & playing music about midnight which made it difficult for us to get to sleep. Not the hotels fault, obviously. The continental breakfast in the morning was amazing - top marks for this! Cereals, bread, croissants, pastries, bagels, scones, crumpets, cold meats, cream cheese, avocados, yogurts, fresh fruit salad, boiled eggs…! All in all, it was a great place, just a bit overpriced for the size of the room.

Great wee hidden gem in a perfect part of Glasgow. Right next to pubs and restaurants easy walk to SWG3 and the Hydro. It’s got everything you need within easy walking distance. We had a great stay. Comfy bed, easy to park on the streets outside.

We stayed here the weekend of our wedding and had two rooms for the first night and the whole hotel for the second night. The staff were first class and did everything they could to ensure the rooms were all ready early for those checking in on the second day. The staff generally were incredible helpful, attentive and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. The rooms were pristine with lovely character features.

Stayed 1 night. Hotel said check in until 11pm. Arrived before this time and door was locked unable to gain entry. No answer when we knocked or called number. Eventually another guest let us in and a key had been left in reception for us. We were in basement, bed was low and uncomfortable. Bathroom door was see through and a wall fitting fell off wall in bathroom. Breakfast was ok all cold food. Wouldn’t stay here again. We did complain about being locked out and were told receptionist was new and has left early.

This was a great overnight experience. The room is beautiful with a very comfy bed and not too much noise in the morning. The check in process is straight forward and the woman on reception was very helpful and chatty. The breakfast on offer is convenient for a quick bite to eat before heading out for the day, my only gripe being that some of the pastries were a bit stale.||Would definitely recommend.

The location of this hotel is excellent, close by to the park and loads of pubs and restaurants however the only thing boutique about this place is the price! I decided to pay a bit extra and we stayed over for a celebration and the beds were like something you would find in an old B&B. There was no temperature control and the room was very hot. The bathroom was dated and the shower was either roasting hot or freezing cold. The fixtures in the bathrooms were in a very poor condition and looked unclean. The check out time was 10am and we were reminded of this several time at 10am and 10.05. All in all this was not a great experience. I did email the hotel for a response before writing this review but had no response. Not good!
