I've bought a number of items here over the last 15 or so years and they really do stand up after repeated washings. I've donated well worn bras that look as good as they did when I first bought them. One good bra that lasts forever is better than buying a new one twice a year because the wire pops out!

The criticism about the customer service is not completely off the mark, you just have to be prepared and realize it's in your own best interest. I used to find it off-putting that they guarded the drawers so carefully and didn't allow me to look myself but once I peeped in myself it was just frustrating to see bras I liked that were not in my size. So the ladies just protect you from the frustration of seeing things that you can't buy!

I love this store for very good reasons! I bought 4 bras 30 years ago… my bras look like they did when I bought them!! As soon as you walk in the women immediately make one feel like they are so happy I was there. Lots of attention and space so one feels like I have space to discover what I might like. The black bra I had is still perfect but I wanted to ensure I have 2 new ones when one will finally want to retire!( the bra not me!) I learned many years ago to but quality- it was $50.00
back then and one divides the 20 years and actually it costs 2.5 cents per year! Thank you all for making my life better with such high quality. I discovered that when you buy good one never has to buy it ever again unless like me one plans for the future.

I have always had the best experience shopping here. The staff are so knowledgeable and they maintain a record of everything you buy which I find helpful. When my daughter in law was pregnant they sent bras back and forth to Burlington for her to try. Vasilia is especially marvelous . Thank you

I have shopped at Avec Plaisir for many, many years and have never been disappointed. Vasilia always knows my size, and selects styles that are best suited for my body shape. She has an amazing selection, so I'm always sure to find something. Everyone is always so helpful and the store is stunning and inviting. My daughter has become a new customer and is in love with everything Avec Plaisir!

Staff members are not all well trained with a proper understanding of bra fitting. I repeatedly asked the staff member for a bra in a smaller band size and larger cup (an equivalent size) since the one I had tried on was too big around the band. She was adamant that it would not fit and brought me instead a band size and cup size smaller after repeating what I asked for. Staff members show few options and attempt to lead your decision or pressure you into buying what they believe looks good, not based on fit. Would instead recommend several other bra fitters in Toronto, definitely not worth extra costs.

The best lingerie and swimwear store in Yorkville. Avec Plasir has an impressive collection of luxury brands that cater to every body type. The owner and staff are beautifully meticulous and don't give you b.s. Highly recommended to visit this store for all your needs, they are trained they will help you find the right lingerie that you want. Vasilia, Paula, and staff are so attentive and helpful you'd be crazy to go anywhere else for lingerie and swimwear!

Good inventory, but you have to be pushy and essentially demand your bra size if you know it and the brand you want. I called to ask about a specific bra I wear and wanted to know if it was on their stocklist. It was, so when I showed up to ask about trying it and what colors they gave I was asked if I knew how much it cost before letting me try it on! Must have been looking poor in my jeans in t-shirt that day... Lol. They also refused to believe I was a 30-D and were only bringing me 32 band sizes ... Which I had to refuse to try in order for them to open the drawer and bring the size I had actually asked for. The customer service in this store gives me anxiety.
