I used to like Argos. Browse the catalogue, check stock and then wait for staff to find and hand over the items.

The modern Argos is not worth visiting. What's the point in having astore with so few items in stock on the premises. Also money wanted on staff. Who have almost nothing to do it seems based on my visit last week.

Disappointing

Nhista, the manager of this shop, behaves very badly. She is treating me very badly today. I bought a rice cooker. I was standing in line to pay. This manager came to me and asked me to pay. Then I saw that the amount of money was more than before and it was less on the day I placed the order. Later she made me wait and went to other customers. All those who were after me are leaving after finishing the work and leaving me standing then called again and I pay she left my product table rice cooker without saying anything to me she did not say anything I did not understand what to do again I stood for a long time. In front of Major Nhista I said what I will do then he said you can go. Such people deserve the post of manager whose behavior is not right, customer service is not known.

I ordered scooter for my toddler online. I went into the store for collection and they said it was cancelled. I asked then why it would be cancelled when I got confirmation code. I really needed the scooter so I ordered again at the store and it showed its ready for collection today and went to till to collect but now they say it's not there. I was with my kids. My son was looking forward to the scooter and the fact that they said they had it and then didn't. They ruined my experience. I have 2 transactions from my account. Now I have to wait 3-5 working days for my return. Also have to order again but never from this store. If they don't have stock they shouldn't accept orders. People will have expectations.

It is a nice place, and have always been warm and helpful but today was an unexpected customer service.

I visited the store to get my ninja processor exchanged as asked by the manufacturers however the staff was unhelpful.

Firstly, only one member of staff was working and the rest were in the back not showing up when the store was full of customers. Then Afiyah named FOH showed up with her phone in the her hand and she walked back and forth, not bothered with anything. The security man asked her to help the customers waiting in queue.

I waited patiently for my turn. She was unbothered from the beginning and when I offered her every detail she stuck to one, and asked me get that or she will not he of any help. In past, the store has been able to locate orders from order number and uplift number, in case the customer does not have a receipt. However she did not bother entering any information and helping me whatsoever.

I moved to the side giving the other customers space to find the receipt. After getting it, I again was waiting at the till where, another FOH Mirza was helping customers on one side and she started serving other customers. She saw me however, yet, kept announcing if anyone else has to approach the pay online counter. Later when I spoke with Mirza that can there be some assistance I can get, he said he believed I was being served by Afiyah. When I hinted towards him that she is being of no help, he did not bother. Afiyah then approached me instantly and gave me no solutions whatsoever.

I informed her that the manufacturer has told me about these steps and she said she can only give a gift card for what was an expensive purchase.

When Mr. Mirza stepped in, he found fault in my use of product, ignoring Ninja admitting their manufacturer fault and said this is his store and he can decide to not accept the product.

A simple solution to the problem could be placing order online and getting it delivered as I was ready to pay the delivery charges as well. However, these two members were not willing to help, whatsoever.

I even told Afiyah to keep her voice down as my voice was not raised at all. She responded that she is doing so as I am not understanding, merely because I asked for another solution than a gift card.

It is unexpected as when I was nee in country, this was the first store to help me out. Clearly these two members of staff were at fault and made the experience miserable for customers who are cooperative and willing to help.

Argos, kindly look into both of them and provide a solution to your paying loyal customers.

Worst experience. This guy called Mirza is called manager. He can barely speak good English, then he calls me a fraudster when I was returning a printer that did not work at all. I had receipt and I had care plan, so I had my rights to return it as it didn’t work. Instead of being apologetic, he was calling me a fraudster and telling me all people do fraud with Argos by returning faulty goods etc etc. I told him I would like to speak to a manager, he said he is a manager, then I challenged him to show me how I committed fraud and how does he know I am doing what others are doing. He couldn’t prove it. His false allegation would make anyone upset. Also he treats female colleagues like harassments, one lady told me she gets harassed by this guy. I am sadden to learn Argos decided to make someone soo narrow minded like him as a manager. I hope a senior manager sees this and hopefully send him to training and he needs to stop accusing customers as fraudsters when he have no evidence. He could get done for libel and slander claims. Argos could get sued because of him. Please train this person before you lose more customers or get a proper trained manager to replace him. Argos as a business don’t have opportunities to have someone like him as a manager, very abusive and accuses customers of something without evidence. This guy would’ve been sacked anywhere else.

I'm hoping this reaches the manager. I stroll to the shop to get some stuff for a beloved little one. Shirley and Jackie, the staff, were very wonderful. They extended support and aid.
It was the nicest ten minutes of customer care I've had in years, and you definitely need more of these lovely people working for your firm... I hope you give them something this season.
