I cannot speak highly enough of Anastasia! She is an incredibly talented designer and seamstress who brought my vision to life in ways I could never have imagined. I came to her with a dream for a custom traditional dress since I wanted to incorporate some of my culture on my wedding day and she not only made it a reality, but exceeded every expectation. The attention to detail, the craftsmanship, and the way the dress fit perfectly - it was more than I could have hoped for.

She took the time to really understand my vision and worked with me every step of the way. The final result was breathtaking - a true masterpiece that was both timeless and unique, tailored to my personality and style. I felt absolutely stunning in it, and the compliments I received were endless.

Additionally, she worked her magic on the alterations to my white wedding dress. Her expertise transformed it into a flawless fit, making me feel even more confident and beautiful on my special day.

To preface, this will be my first ever time leaving a review for any establishment/business, but it is also the only time I leave one without hesitation. I first heard about Anastasia through the Houston Brides Facebook page, so I decided to reach out and send a message. She responded right away, and told me to come in for a consultation. Flash forward one month before the wedding, my dress had just come in, and I made an appointment with her. She was very flexible with scheduling and was very understanding with my commute (I live over an hour away). It took a few appointments, but each one was very detailed as she provided her expert opinion. When I came for the final fitting, the dress was absolutely perfect. Everything fit right, and she did such an amazing job with the tailoring. I would recommend her 100 times over. (She even helped fix my veil!) So for any bride wanting a wedding dress (she designs as well) or needing a dress tailored, Anastasia is your person. She is so kind and patient, but most importantly, she’ll take care of you!

My great grandma made my mother's wedding dress. So for me to wear the dress was an honor. Over 30yrs my mother's dress changed to a yellow color so I knew I would have to change some things on it but try to keep as much as I could. I went to one tailor and that was a huge mistake. They didn't know what they were doing. So in desperate mode, I found Anastasia Contour. She speaks with kindness, experience, knowledge and passion for her work. Anastasia loves what she does and her work proves it. She managed to fix what the previous tailor failed to do and had the dress fit me perfectly!
My only complaint is that I didn't find Anastasia first. I'm posting this before my wedding so all I have are progress photos.

Anastasia is wonderful! I bought a wedding dress online not sure if it would work and she made it perfect! Her attention to detail is amazing and even when I thought it was good enough, she suggested one more fix to make it perfect and she was right! She has such a great knowledge on how to make your dress flattering, I will never go anywhere else. She is mindful of the timing of your event and communication was excellent.

Anastasia is a real life Fairy God Mother. I felt like such a princess in my dress! I originally brought my dress in just for a quick hem and she pointed out flaws I didn't even see in the first place. She even added small details that really completed the dress. I will 100 times over again use her for any and all alterations. I even sent my mother, sister and future husband to her and she was able to execute flawlessly.

I cannot say enough good things about Anastasia! After my wedding dress came in, I needed it hemmed and a bustle added for the train. I read all of the reviews for Houston-area tailoring services and I couldn't decide where to take it to because every tailoring service had hit-or-miss reviews. Luckily, I am in a bride-to-bride Facebook group and EVERYONE was recommending Anastasia. I am SO glad I brought my dress to her! My dress is covered in appliques and she painstakingly removed all of the applique from the bottom of my dress, hemmed all 5 layers, and reattached the applique seamlessly. It was done so beautifully that you cannot tell it was even altered. My bustle is also absolutely perfect. Anastasia was timely and communicative with her work and she made the entire process so easy and stress-free. All Houston-area brides should bring their wedding dresses here for altering!

Anastasia saved me by revamping an outdated competition waltz skirt for me. I went to her with a two week deadline, and she was so nice to try and help me. She did an incredible job with my skirt. So skilled and so efficient— and such a nice person. She rescued me from wearing something I was dreading having to wear, and afterward to something stunning and beautiful.
