Dr. Maruyama is wonderful and saved my life a few years ago when I had a bacteria in my stomach. I believe this man is very skilled at what he does as I had been to no less than 2 general practitioners, 1 gastroenterologist, countless urgent care visits, EVERY emergency room in Fresno, and after one visit to Dr. Maruyama and one prescription he gave me my LIFE back. I went from lying in bed in incredible pain for 10 months, not able to work or even cook for my family he had me back on my feet within 2 weeks of his visit. My post is NOT about Dr. Maruyama but rather the scheduling staff. In particular Bridgette who is in charge of scheduling. She has now advised me with a rather rude assuredness the WRONG date for an ultrasound that I have coming up with Fresno Imaging. Bridgette advised me that I had the date of my ultrasound incorrect and advised me that I should call to confirm the correct date and time. I DID in fact have the correct date and time of 8/11/2022 with an arrival time of 8:40am. Bridgette advised me that the ultra sound was for 8/10/2022. IF YOU GET ANY INFORMATION FROM THIS PERSON PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK IT. The reason for my call this a.m. was that I was advised, by Bridgette, to call back to Dr. Maruyama's office as soon as I had the ultrasound appointment SCHEDULED and then I can schedule with Dr. Maruyama. When I called this morning to make the appointment I was advised, by Bridgette, that I could not make the appointment with Dr. Maruyama until the ultrasound was completed. This I can understand. I can NOT understand why I was given two different scheduling procedures and now incorrect verification as to an upcoming appointment.
